Services We Offer
We are a grassroots nonprofit organization who believes reentry should begin the day a person steps foot in the carceral system. At our core, we know that working with communities before crime is ideal, working with at-risk children to mentor them before adulthood to help prevent entry into the carceral system is also ideal. We don't live in an ideal world, but we are doing our part to bridge the divide and work to reduce recidivism.
Our Services are multi-faceted. Our overall goal is the prepare people for reentry before they return. We are not a reentry house and most services we offer take place before a person even steps foot back into society. We continue to support our clients after-incarceration support with mentorship, guidance and resources. As we grow, we hope to provide Certified Peer Support assistance to those in need.
Art Giveback
Our "Art Giveback" program is meant to not just assist those who are incarcerated save for hopeful reentry, but also to give back to society. This program is for incarcerated men and women who have an artistic talent.
Commutation Support
In the state of Pennsylvania, there were 5,250 incarcerated persons serving Life without the Possibility of Parole. What is often misunderstood is the people serving this sentence; if a person is convicted of first- or second-degree murder in Pennsylvania, they will receive Life without Parole. Sadly, many of these individuals didn't kill or did not intend to kill.
Strategic Mentorship
Strategic Mentorship is all about working with individuals to be better individuals, take accountability and be transparent.
