For Employers
While fair chance hiring (also known as second chance hiring) is becoming more prevalent, we still face many challenges. One challenge is the Board of Pardons or the Parole Board (different entities in the state of Pennsylvania) often want to see an incarcerated person have a job before release.
Without access to the internet and with modern day hiring practices, it can prove incredibly difficult. if not impossible for an incarcerated person to secure that much needed employment.
Reentry Ready seeks to change this narrative but inviting employers to learn of the benefits of second chance hiring and explore our secure website to read more about our clients. The goal is to see employers get to know the individual persons through communicating (this will happen outside of Reentry Ready) and to be ready to hire these individuals, for who they are today.
Not only would you be participating in fair chance hiring, but you will also be working to change our communities and uplift the incarcerated men and women by showing their value.
We are not an employment agency and do not charge any fees to the employer or the incarcerated person. Our organization is run 100% on generous donations.

Further, with so many people spending decades in prison, they may be an ideal candidate to release into society but lack important resources such as housing. The lack of something such as shelter may make the difference between being released to society or dying in prison. We invite you to help us be part of the solution and view these secure profiles to see if there is a way you too can assist bring home men and women who are no longer a threat to our communities.
